As they traverse through the southeastern United States, the monks are on a mission to awaken the peace that resides within each individual, according to Bhikkhu Pannakara, their spiritual leader. What to Expect on January 14 The monks will depart from Catawba Baptist Church in Rock Hill, South Carolina, early in the morning and make their first stop at the Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill for lunch. Visitors can meet the monks from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at this serene location. After lunch, they will continue their journey to the Marion Diehl Recreation Center in Charlotte, where the public can connect with them between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Admission is free at both stops, ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to engage with this inspiring event!
