This May 31st, the vibrant art scene of Charlotte invites you to share your voice at the Story Teller Open Mic hosted by the Charlotte Unconventional Film School. Taking place at the Common Market Oakwold from 7 to 9 PM, this open mic will be a haven for storytellers and listeners alike. As a part of a monthly series set for odd months throughout 2025, participants are encouraged to tell personal stories that may range from hilarious mishaps to heartfelt adventures.
Open Opportunity for All
Whether you're a seasoned storyteller or sharing your tale for the first time, this event is all about embracing the art of storytelling. Initially, a few curated storytellers will kick off the evening, and then a hat will be drawn for additional participants hoping to captivate the audience. Each story must be a true account from your life, ideally limited to five minutes, allowing everyone to shine and share their unique perspectives.
